Congratulations to Plamás, a group made up of members from our branch of Comhaltas Ceoltóirí Éireann, who were in Dublin recently to record for a forthcoming television programme 'Glas Vegas' on TG4.

Music Classes at Brú na Sí

Lár na Cruinne

Classes in Irish traditional music, song and dance are beginning again at Brú na Sí Cultural Centre, the outreach centre for Comhaltas Ceoltóirí Éireann in Youghal. Enrolment will take place on September 8th and 9th between 7pm and 9pm. Classes will begin the following week.

Li Pistocoppi visit Craobh Eochaille Seisiún

Li Pistocoppi
Each year, one of the Seisiún shows presented by Craobh Eochaille CCÉ is extra special as it features a visiting folkdance group in association with the Cork International Folk Dance Festival. This year there was an Italian flavour as Li Pistocoppi performed at The Red Store in Youghal.
